These are 16pb Type calipers, your original calipers may be 16p Type which means the design of the seal around the piston is different.

These calipers are interchangeable and Triumph fitted both varieties on these models - there’s no difference in braking between them as the pistons are the same diamater.

This is the replacement Girling design where the pipes come out as pictured.

On the original Dunlop cylinder (No Longer Available) the pipes comes out of the end and at 90degrees out the side.

Almost all cars now have the Girling Type master cylinder already fitted.

Normally the Girling type goes straight on - but some buyers say they have to make up a spacer to mount this cylinder.

When these Slave Cylinders were re-made, they used a seal that was way to thin and not up to the job -  So the cylinder keeps on popping.

This cylinder has been made to the original spec so it will last.

This cylinder is complete and working apart from the Metal End Boot which i cant supply at the moment - 

That means the Metal End Boot is not included in this sale. 

You'll have to prize off and re-use your old one. 

That means you should tell your mechanic before he bins the old one.

Don't phone me up and ask 'Whens the Metal End Boot coming?' All that does is prove you didn't read the description and will make it impossible for me to serve you again.

This Clutch Hose will only fit the Imp Mk2, it will not fit the Imp Mk1.

You can tell the Mk2 as it has a Steel Slave Cylinder with the mounting flange up near the end, the Imp Mk1 uses an aluminium slave cylinder with the flange about halfway down and required a thread adaptor for the pipe.

**  Don't buy any old Hose because it look right and it's cheaper - it won't be right **

The MGA 1600 / 1622 only had drums on the rear. 

The MGA Twin Cam has Discs all round so it does not use Brake Shoes.
