Here's a new Core Plug Set for the following 6 cylinder models models from Triumph -

These plugs are pressed into the engine block to fill up holes left when manufacturing the engine.

After a long time they rust and you start to leak water, if you keep your car full of Anti-Freeze this helps protect them against rust.

It's very easy to change these, to remove the old ones you knock a sharp scredriver through the old core plug and lever it out. You then press the new core plug into the block, put a flat bit of wood over if and hit it home! (You'll need to drain the water out of the engine / radiator first!)

CRANKSHAFT THRUST WASHERS Std (Triumph TR5 & TR6) (2.5 Litre) (2498cc) (1967- 76)

Here's a new Set of Thrust Washers (Std Size) for the following models from Triumph -

Here’s a new Oil Pressure Relief Spring & Valve Kit  for the following models from Triumph -

This kit regulates the Engine Oil Pressure by stopping oil dropping back into the sump after it's been round the engine.

 

If you have low oil pressure this could be a very easy way to fix it. 

 

The Spring & Plunger are accessed by removing the a Nut on the side of the engine block - Usually just under the Distributor.
