Here's a length of Really Squashey Boot Seal (Sold by the Metre) for general use, this has the Bobble on top (Not on the side - See the Picture).

This has metal moulded inside so it required no glue or mucking about - Just Push on.

This will push onto a Steel edge or a Fibreglass edge which is normally fatter, it won't come off as it has backwards facing teeth - See the picture.

The measurements are provided in the picture- but remember it's Really Squashey & Soft so it'll compress down, it's not like that horrible rock hard shiney plastic stuff you see.
