ADJUSTABLE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER ROD (Kit Car, Rally, Pedal Bias, Classic, Veteran, Hot Rod, Racing Car Parts)

Here's a new Adjustable Push Rod & Fork for the Brake or Clutch Master Cylinder on the following cars - 

Trike
Grass Trials 
Kit Car
Go Kart
Hot Rod
Custom Car
Classic Car

.......or any Road Going car where you can't find a Rod of the Correct length.

NOTE- When you fit this Rod into the Master Cylinder - there's a washer for the circlip to rest on. You'll have to re-use that washer / make one 

HERE'S THE MEASUREMENTS

From the the Hole Centre in the Fork to the End of the Rod -

Min Open Length   - 90mm      (** Longer Rods Available - See Other items **)

Max Open Length  - 125mm    (** Longer Rods Available - See Other items **)

Measurements of the Fork Bit -

Hole Diameter                  - 9mm (7/16")

Width of Fork Opening     - 8mm

FITTING GUIDANCE

After fitting this Adjustable Pushrod you should ensure it's not adjusted any Longer than is required. 

If the pushrod is adjusted to long it will hold the Master Cylinders reservoir closed which means - 

i)  You won't be able to bleed the brakes 

ii) If you got a leak anywhere, the fluid in the reservoir wont be able to get to the brakes - So you'll almost instantly have no brakes. 

iii) Brakes won't work - Long pedal, poor braking etc 

After Fitting - Ensure the pushrod has a bit of movement.

(**NEVER use an Easi-Bleed / Pressure / Vacuum pump when fitting any brake parts - If you have to resort to that then there's something else wrong and you'll just be masking the problem**).
