NOTE : Ford used a different oil switch with a fatter thread later on, the changeover being about 1966. If your car is near the changeover please compare it to the picture.

 

 

 

This is the switch that operates the Oil Pressure Warning Light on the dashboard (Normally a Green Light in the Speedo), this switch is not used for fitting an Oil Guage.

 

 

 

It's very easy to fit as it just screws into the side of the Engine Block and the feed-wire fits onto the end.
